 Free Cinquain Poetry Pack

Hi everyone! I'm Stacy from Teacher's Take-Out! I'm so happy to be blogging over here today. I have a poetry activity about Cinquain poems that I wanted to share. Since April is the month for poetry, you will be able to add this fun little freebie to your poetry collection before the month is up.

This FREE Cinquain Poetry Writing pack contains 3 different ways to write Cinquain Poems (Word Count, Syllable, and Personal). A Cinquain poem is a verse of 5 lines that do not rhyme but follow a pattern. This pack includes the pattern and an example of each poem. It also includes some writing paper for students to write their final poem on.

These are fun little poems to practice some writing. Students can use the Personal Cinquains for themselves, their friends, or even a character from a book. The Word Cinquains are perfect for practicing nouns, verbs, and adjectives. And the Syllable Cinquains are great for reviewing how many syllables are in words. Not only are Cinquain Poems fun, but they help practice other skills too.

Enjoy your freebie!
See you next month,
 Teacher's Take-Out

  1. These look great! Thank you for sharing. I will use it to teach when I get there as we're working on poetry now.
