It's the most wonderful time of the year...SUMMER!

Ahhhhhhhhhh...summer!  As a teacher and a mother,  summer is a wonderful time for the three R's! Relax, rejuvenate, and read!  I am a huge reader, but during the school year I feel like I never have enough time to do as much reading as I would like.  I try to read as much fiction as humanly possible...but I do throw in a few professional books as well.

So, I just finished this gem:

This book has a little for everyone: mystery, romance, action, ghosts, psychics, and elephants!  I would highly recommend this one!  

I haven't started this one yet (too busy reading my fiction books) but I am intrigued by the title:

Reading Reflex: The Foolproof Phono-Graphix Method for Teaching Your Child to Read!  

It sounds like a great read to me.  I am hoping that this will help with those kiddos in my class that are having some difficulty with reading.
