Parallel lines, perpendicular lines, intersecting lines...so many types of lines! If these terms are part of your Geometry unit then you HAVE to try out this FUN and FREE project I created when I taught 3rd grade.
Your students will LOVE this Geometry project that covers the three types of lines: parallel lines, perpendicular lines and intersecting lines. This is a great way to combine art and math! Come grab this FREE activity.

This geometry project has students camouflage a set of lines. Print out several sets of the provided templates for this project that appear at the end of this post:

Have students choose a paper and use crayons, colored pencils and/or markers to turn their set of lines into something unique. Here are a few examples:




Afterwards, display their creations. Everyone will enjoy checking out the beautiful artwork that was created out of a simple set of lines😉
